There is still so much to see on the classic Upper Mustang trek. Since the road reached Upper Mustang, many trekkers now rush to Lo Manthang, spend a night, and return by Jeep. But Mustang is much more than Lo Manthang. This trek takes time to explore the hidden valleys, ancient villages, monasteries, caves, landscapes and culture that make Mustang so special - much of it described beautifully in Mustang Bhot in Fragments.

The mountains have once again reminded us of both their beauty and their immense power.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Nims Dai, his fellow climbers, their families, friends, and the rescue teams working tirelessly in extremely difficult conditions on Broad Peak.

Until official news is confirmed, we remain hopeful and ask everyone to respect the families by avoiding speculation and sharing only verified information.
