This Kukur Tihar. Celebrating Wh**ey and Brownie. This year and every year. Forever.

When it rains.

It's raining
cold droplets on bare skin, raining
scary waters on heart
I hear unseen lightning.

Coming home. You at the gate
watching, wet, waiting:
in spring's chilly waters,
winter's freezing droplets,
summer waters.

I say, you're silly, as you pad across
clean floor and rugs
and wipe you clean with a towel

red golden wet hair on cloth
musky smell of a drying dog

You are in the rain again Alone
looking for me to come to you I know.

I can't find you and you don't know how to come back
A lump in throat, I wait to hear of you

It's raining

After today's heat, rain will give you water to drink
I look for you, heart empty
you look for me, somewhere
in the rain

I will again sleep restlessly tonight
mind drowning, rain filled.
