Day 10: Today our route got connected to the classical Everest Base Camp trek route. As we leave Dzongla(4855m/15930ft) we hiked alongside Chola Lake then follow Khumbu Glacier. We spotted memorials of climbers who passed away in the region en route. Today’s hike was about three hours.
Today’s trek was lighter and more pleasurable than yesterday.

Today as well we started our day early in the morning. We started hiking from Thangnak village (4700m/15400ft) following the rocky trails and glacial moraines up to the top of Cho La Pass. (5420m) From the top of Cho La Pass, we saw the beauty of Mount Cholatse and many more. The hike down the Cho La Pass was more challenging than the ascend, as the path is icy and slippery. After an hours-long and thrilling trek, we reached the destination of the day; Dzongla. Todays we took nine and half hours to reach our destination.
