Tenzing is finally on the big screen 🏔️

I had the pleasure of watching it at the premiere in Kathmandu, and seeing my brothers Pasang Arya, Dr Nima and so many others up on that screen made me so proud.
Tenzing Norgay wasn’t born Sherpa. He came from Tibet as an outsider and found his home among us in Khumbu. Yet he became the face of everything we stand for: strength, humility, respect for Chomolungma, and never giving up.
Our villages are changing fast and the old ways are fading. If we don’t protect our clan and culture now, the next generation will only know the Sherpas from a movie. It’s on all of us to keep that legacy alive!

Everest Khumbu Himalaya Nepal

Standing on the summit of K2 in the winter was about a unified team facing the harshest season together. Raising the Nepali flag on top of the Savage Mountain alongside my brothers is a moment I will carry with deep gratitude forever. And I also want to remember those that passed away on the mountain doing what they loved. This expedition was different to any other, but we need to remember to respect each other and never put blame on others. Everyone chooses to climb mountain.

Reliving those moments as the documentary comes out brings it all back, but there is still so much of this story left to tell.

All our team is currently at Basecamp. Today some of our amazing Sherpas from AGA went up to camp 1 to make sure our tents, dining and kitchen are safe before the upcoming cyclone. Our camp 1 cook, who has worked tiresly over the past few days is also back to bc.

Thank you so much to the AGA team so far for all your hard work and dedication. 🙏🏾💪

Last night we had a lot of snowfall which is continuing even now. We also have very unstable weather approaching near to the 25th. The mountain is very dangerous now with very high avalanche risk. Please be careful and be patient.
Always use high quality weather forecasting and don't rely only on free websites like mountain forecast.

It was so amazing to join with our local guides 3 times back to back on the roof of Africa with 3 amazing groups of clients. Everyone was so strong and motivated. 💪 Ascend Tanzania

It's my 4th time of killmanjaro summit Roop of Africa 🌍

Part of our Sherpa blood is intertwined with our Buddhist beliefs. Sometimes in the day I take a moment to pray and be thankful for the life I have lived so far especially after the recent tragedies. I pray that all my friends and family have a long and happy life. 🙏🏾🕉️
