AMA DABLAM BASE CAMP IS READY!

The stage is set for another incredible Himalayan adventure! Our Ama Dablam Base Camp is fully prepared and ready to welcome our climbing team.

Our members have already begun their journey from Kathmandu and will soon arrive at Base Camp, where they’ll spend the coming days resting, preparing, training, and acclimatising before taking on the mighty Ama Dablam (6,812m) — one of the most iconic and technical mountains in the Himalayas.

Lobuche East is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable high-altitude experience and prepare for more technical climbs. By incorporating this summit into Betty’s itinerary before Ama Dablam, we’re helping her build acclimatisation, confidence, and climbing experience ahead of the next challenge.

Every step brings our trekkers closer to the heart of the Himalayas!

Our EBC trekking team is making its way towards Everest Base Camp, experiencing the incredible transformation of the landscape along the trail — from lush forests and green vegetation to small alpine bushes, rugged terrain, and the dramatic, dry landscapes of the high Himalayas.

Along the way, the team continues to focus on proper acclimatization, including a hike to a hill at approximately 5,000 metres. During the hike, they paid tribute to our late director, Nirmal Purja MBE - NIMSDAI, honouring his legacy and remembering the inspiration he continues to be for all of us.

The changing scenery, the challenges of high altitude, and the breathtaking mountain views make every day a new adventure.

The destination is Everest Base Camp, but the memories are made with every step along the way!
