Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) – The Sacred Mountain
Machhapuchhre, also known as Fishtail Mountain (6,993 m), is one of Nepal’s most iconic peaks. Its sharp, double-summit ridge looks like a fish’s tail—hence the name.
This mountain is considered sacred by the local people and is never climbed, preserving its untouched beauty.
