Morocco Day 5
From Nkob to Dades via a sweet gorge similar to the cirque du Jaffar. We had super weather today and time to soak it up. Coffee at the rock garden is always great and the trip up to Rose Valley into Amejgag then back into Dades was AMAZING. Tonight the vibes were high and we partied accordingly!

Today was a special day! After breakfast we held a training session in the desert run by James before we shot off towards Zagora on some old Dakar tracks. So much freedom out there! We arrived to Nkob for the night and kicked back with another incredible day (and cold beer) under our belt.

Today we rode from Merzouga to a sweet Kasbah in Sidi Ali with plenty of excitement along the way :) It’s lucky Ben has a hard head.

NEW TIBET TOURS to EVEREST BASE CAMP!

We’re excited to announce two brand-new motorcycle tours in Tibet, both now starting and finishing in Lhasa.

That means no more flying into Kathmandu, no border crossings, and no waiting days for paperwork. Simply fly straight into Lhasa, we handle all permits in advance, and you’re on the bike and riding the Tibetan Plateau without the usual delays or complications.

We’ve also significantly upgraded the riding experience. These tours now run on CFMOTO 800cc motorcycles — a major step up from the Royal Enfields in terms of power, comfort, and reliability. They perform far better at altitude and over long distances, making the ride smoother, cooler, and more enjoyable. The new bikes are also properly pillion-friendly, making these tours a fantastic option for partners who want to share the adventure.

To match the improved bikes and smoother logistics, we’ve raised the accommodation standard throughout the tour. Wherever possible, we now use the best available hotels and lodges, focusing on comfort, cleanliness, and location — a welcome upgrade after long days riding at altitude.

The price of the Upper Mustang special permit has now been reduced from a flat rate of US$500 to US$50/day.

That will give riders a few more dollars to play with during their visit to Nepal!

During a motorcycle trip to Upper Mustang, we spend 3-4 days in the region so the cost has more than halved which is great news for all travellers on upcoming trips.

We still have some space on our April 18-25 departure so if you're looking for a great start to 2026, this is your chance!
