Partnering with WINGS Women of Discovery, we are thrilled to announce a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience Mongolia’s major archaeological sites, ancient traditions,
and age-old nomadic culture with world-renowned paleontologist Dr. Bolortsetseg Minjin.

Dr. Minjin, who will accompany and help guide us on the 10-day adventure, has made significant contributions to safeguarding Mongolia's heritage. She played a pivotal role in stopping the illegal trade of a Tyrannosaurus bataar fossil skeleton and repatriated over 70 stolen dinosaurs to Mongolia.

Her ongoing work includes educational outreach in the Gobi Desert, establishing a conservation park to combat illegal fossil poaching, and creating a community-focused Dinosaur Museum at the Flaming Cliffs. Destinations include the capital of Ulaanbaatar, Hustai National Park, the Gobi Desert and The Flaming Cliffs.

This trip will run September 11 - 22, 2025 and is limited to 15 participants.

I'm traveling in Nepal with a small group of Swedes. And while the US election results have been a major topic of discussion and concern for all of us, I am gratefully reaping the benefits of what travel does. It provides perspective.

Surrounded by the monumental Himalayas and visiting ancient Hindu Temples and holy sites, one cannot help but feel like a tiny speck in our ever-changing universe. How lucky am I to share this part of the journey with like-minded friends.

Quite an adventure hiking in the Himalayas. We started with a long jeep ride on a “road” the likes of which I've never seen. You hike from mountain tea house to tea house passing through Hindu villages, by paddy fields, jungles, waterfalls and cliffs all backdropped by the voluminous Annapurna mountain range. The tea houses are very basic but welcoming with Nepalese meals and you meet other hikers and locals who love to dance!

Justine and I have been doing mother/daughter trips since she was 5 years old. This year, we chose the Lofoten Islands in Norway where we hiked, ate extremely well and spent hours and hours talking and laughing. The islands were bookended with stays in Oslo where one of the highlights was plunging into the bracing North Atlantic Ocean in between sessions in our floating sauna.

Loving our latest mom/daughter trip. Kicked off with afternoon tea at The Balmoral in Edinburgh and moved on to the Scottish Highlands where we have been hiking 10-15 miles a day.

The wedding and honeymoon are getting separated and hiking is the new "it" active travel pursuit. As we emerge from lockdowns, travel is coming back in surprising new ways.
