This to me is the epitome of what a kombi summer time road trip is all about!
Where will your adventure take you? This was my first trip up the west coast of the South Island and it did not disappoint!
A totally unplanned shot - we just stopped and both got out and ran over the sand down to the waves.
Turning around, Aggiee looked so picturesque with the sand, native bush behind, and the cloudy blue sky vibes.
You get it all on the west coast. We struck it lucky and it only rained the first day.
But as one west coaster we talked to told us, without the rain, there would not be the green beauty of the coast!
Totally true - driving through the native bush like a filtered green tunnel is stunning!
Make the west coast part of your NZ road trip - you won’t regret it!
