On 26th August 2026 (20 Bhadra 2082), we were all deeply saddened by the devastating flood that occurred in Nepal after the Tibet-side waters flowed into the Bhotekoshi/Trishuli River.
By the grace of God, the group from Royale travels New Zealand, which was heading toward Kailash, had crossed that area just one day before the incident. This photo was taken on tibet side of the boarder before we boarded the bus for kerung. We spend 6 hours at that location 1 day before the incident at nepal Boarder and China immigration. However, we are deeply saddened and shocked by the enormous loss of life and property that occurred in the region.
We are saddened by the loss of many pilgrims and tourists who had come from different countries for the Kailash pilgrimage, as well as local residents, tourism workers, laborers, government employees, and employees working in various companies. Their disappearance has left us deeply shocked and heartbroken.
