Walking for a cause that matters.

This weekend, the Travel Culture team will be getting our walking shoes on to take part in the Blue Dragon Walk, helping raise funds for the incredible work of Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation.

Blue Dragon works across Vietnam to protect vulnerable children and families from exploitation, homelessness and human trafficking. Their work goes far beyond immediate rescue - they provide education, support and pathways to a safer future, while also working with communities and governments to help prevent trafficking and create lasting change.

As a travel business, we feel incredibly fortunate to be part of an industry that connects us with people and communities around the world. So it feels particularly meaningful for our team to give something back and support a cause that is making such a difference.

Hashika, Annelies and Lulu will be walking together this Sunday, 13 September, and we’d love your support.

I genuinely love nothing more than receiving photos from my clients when they are travelling! Seeing a trip in action that was planned at very short notice is so satisfying, absolutely love what I do!

These photos are from the Serengeti in Tanzania, my adventurous client is midway through an Intrepid Travel trip that will soon see her hiking Mt Kilimanjaro! How amazing!!

This lovely lady is also looking to change her flights home and push them out a day so she can take a breather before the long haul flying. This is a Travel Agents time to shine….the client flicks me one quick message on Whatsapp, continues on enjoying her holiday and I’ll sort her flights out in the background so she doesn’t need to spend hours on the phone to the airline! One happy client, and one agent absolutely more than happy to help ✈️

Now who wants to travel to Africa next!? 🙋‍♀️

For me, this article is a great reminder that we don’t have to do everything perfectly. We just need to keep learning, keep growing, surround ourselves with good people and take care of ourselves while building something we’re proud of.
