Starting 26 March 2025, eligible teachers can directly apply for residency through the Green List Straight to Permanent Residence pathway to help ease teacher shortages, particularly in Auckland and Northland.

💡𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘄?
✔️ Standard quota: 2,500 visas per year, - 2,000 for ‘queue’ EOIs, - 500 for ballot EOIs
✔️ One-off increase: Up to 2,331 visas for queue EOIs (an extra 331 visas)
✔️ Notification: If your queue EOI is selected, you’ll be contacted directly!
