Still proudly operating Scania New Zealand coaches today!

Peter Pavlovich still remembers the first Scania bus added to the Pavlovich fleet in 1972. The company bought the first Scania coach chassis sold in Australasia, and while there was hesitancy about this 'unknown European brand', two more Scania coaches were soon added to the Pavlovich fleet. However, at 40 feet long, they were deemed too long to be allowed on the road. The rules soon changed enabling these two buses to become Pavlovich's flagship tour and charter vehicles.

In 1976 Ivan Pavlovich was invited to visit the Scania factory in Sweden, starting a 50-year strong business relationship between the two companies that remains to this day.
