We had Orewa collage students out with us this week, on an educational trip .we had Matt from Legasea giving fantastic insight on the Hauraki gulf and beyond.
Talking about ocean species and how they interact with each other and what effect we make as we go about our activities at sea.
We had excellent weather both days ,the water was a mirror for the sun.
The students had fantastic fun learning
and experiencing first hand, some great principles in best fish handling and care.

What a fantastic day out fishing with a lovely group of kids, youth group.
Great times good laughter and plenty of nice fish. Everyone caught fish to take home to share.

After a lot of thought, we made the call to sell our offshore boats, Hunter and Gatherer.
These boats gave us some unforgettable days at sea — epic fishing and adventures with some amazing people. To everyone who came offshore with us over the years: thank you. The memories, laughs and photos will always be part of Ultimate Charters.

What’s next?
We’re 100% focused on Koru, our large inshore charter and harbour cruise vessel, specialising in group bookings of 10–40 people. Corporate days, trade crews, team rewards, celebrations and relaxed harbour cruising — this is where we’re putting all our energy.
Same crew. Same standards. Same passion for getting people out on the water.
Just a sharper focus, and we’re excited about what’s ahead.
