Lots of information this month on our AGM (12th August 2026) and mid-winter Social Event (15th August 2026). Also lots of photos from our recent Club Picnic and Working Bee. If the newsletter has missed you, please let me know so I can add your email to the mailing list.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank a few people this month. Without the hard work of our committee & members the club would not continue to exist. In no particular order, and with huge appreciation:

Howick Beach and wharf, circa 1920. Built in 1896, the wharf was 800 feet (240 meters) long and 7 feet (2 meters) wide! The wharf was demolished in 1935, but the piles can still be seen at low tide.

We live in a Village with such rich history.
