The Lodge on Waiheke Island is self-contained private accommodation for 10 - 24 guests, perfect for c

Huge open plan living area with large chef's kitchen with large fridge and freezer with ice maker. Indoor dining table seats 10, The main lounge seats 12, Denon media system, Sky 65 in Sony Bravia TV, DVD and PS3. Huge outside deck with tables for alfresco dining can seat 24+. There are bean bags in the main lounge, relaxing hanging chairs on the lower deck and an outside Jacuzzi bath for one (or

two) on the lower deck. Regular and frequent passenger ferry from the Auckland ferry terminal at the bottom of queen street in Auckland. Sealink car ferry from Half Moon Bay and from Wynyard Quarter. 15 Minute taxi ride from Waiheke ferry terminal to the Lodge. The private airstrip is available by appointment and a 5 minute walk to The Lodge - fly a few friends here for the weekend - NZKE. If you are booked-in, the manager will pick you up and take you and your luggage directly from your aircraft to The Lodge.

WELCOME BACK TO PARADISE! 🌅
It has been a long wait...

We are excited from December 3rd the Waiheke Lodge will be OPEN for business under the new 'Covid-19 protection framework' Level Red, Orange and Green.

Since the Waiheke Lodge is exclusive to you/ family/ friends when staying and not shared with any other guests or members of the public, we are not subject to 'venue restrictions.' Under Level Red, we ask to please provide a guest-list in advance and scan the QR code at the door when you arrive. We will then call you by phone and provide a contactless virtual walk-around the building.

🌴🎅🏻☀️Spend Christmas on a tropical island☀️🎅🏻🌴

For the first time, the Waiheke Lodge is open for Christmas - bring your extended family to a nearly sub-tropical island, nearly abroad, no flights, without being depressurised, x-rayed or your bags searched.

🛳🏖Just hop on the passenger ferry from downtown Auckland. If you prefer taking the car, go from Half Moon bay or Hamner street and no time you are on the island paradise of . 🛳🏖

The Waiheke Lodge is huge and offers comfortable self-contained privacy with wonderful views across the island to the sea from the dining area on the outside deck running the length of the building. A large entertainment area, two lounges two kitchens, 5 bedrooms plus a second lounge with bunk beds, the Lodge is very spacious for groups of 10 to 20 (can sleep a maximum 24 in 19 beds). Minimum 4 night stay over Christmas; you welcome to stay longer.

The Waiheke Lodge is fully equipped to make a great Christmas dinner including table cloths, placemats, candles etc and yes even a Christmas tree ! Have Countdown Supermarkets deliver before you arrive and we will put everything away in the cupboards and dual fridges - you just walk-in and enjoy.

Great to see Waiheke life coming back to normal with a live performance of the Waiheke String Quartet – a perfect performance of themes from Gershwin to 80s favorites like Bohemian Rhapsody to popular Spanish music plus the lovely food, service and ambiance of our local Casita Miro

We are OPEN!

From this Thursday (14 May) the Waiheke Lodge will be open to bookings, it is now time to explore your country…. and what better way to do it on a island in the Hauraki Gulf surrounded by beaches, wineries & wildlife??

To comply with the level 2 restrictions for this period we can only accommodate 10 people max therefore we have a reduced rate of $750 per night. From the 28th May we will be back to normal with our winter rates and have the availability to accommodate a max of 24 people.

There is a also second lounge with a grand piano for musicians to enjoy and second family kitchen/dining area, so lots of space to relax and enjoy the wonderful sunset views. There are bean bags in the main lounge, relaxing hanging chairs on the lower deck with an outside whirlpool bath bath for one (or two) also on the lower deck. Regular and frequent passenger ferry from the Auckland ferry terminal at the bottom of queen street in Auckland. Sealink car ferry from Half Moon Bay and from Wynyard Quarter. 15 Minute taxi ride from Waiheke ferry terminal to the Lodge.
