THE KEEP is renowned proprietress + fashion designer Lela Jacobs’ Atelier

The Keep is defined as “The strongest or central tower of a medieval castle” and is intended to be a central city base for this creative collective concept. Jacobs’ vision for the space is to open the inner workings of her studio, as well as building on her already established collaborative work. With her cutting table in the store, the transparency of this idea allows customers to be involved wit

h the whole scope of the process from design to patternmaking and garment construction. Maintaining close working relationships with the artistic community, the store will have a bi-monthly revolving roster of exhibitors + curated exhibitions providing a space for artists to show their works as well as a participatory experience in any collaborative projects with Lela Jacobs.

It is a huge relief to open the doors to The Keep after this long moment of collective hibernation.

We’ve missed you + look forward to sharing the new textures + shapes physically. So much of our making is driven by feel, and sharing that is important.

All Keepers are fully vaccinated, and will be keeping numbers low in the space; but if you feel more comfortable with a private viewing of Milk+Ash, please email Lela.

Opening hours will be Wednesday - Saturday 11 - 4. Analog tunes + a soft approach as always X
