Life is simple
but the mind makes it complex.
The mind can be a freak of nature
at times if we allow it.
Better to keep it focused
on what’s positive and good.

Mostly I try to overwhelm
the mind by staying focused
on inner feelings
that feel wonderful to experience.

So I try to keep
a steady daily practice
of creating what I choose
to focus on… like beauty!
and in so doing
I don’t leave much time
for mind thinking thoughts.

Instead my constant focus
is to create harmony
within,
and that always feels much better
than where the mind tends to go.

Fortunately my mind
has been trained
to practice being silent
and so we get on well now.
Ha ha ha!

Have a day of delightful
treats that adds energy
and makes you feel
much lighter!
