Last week, we celebrated Te Wiki' as te Re (Moriori Language Week)! 🌿

A special celebration of language and culture that we were incredibly proud to support and share a little taste of with our passengers. ✈️

If you travelled with us last week, you might have spotted our Manu (birds) word searches on board, created for our younger travellers (although no judgement if a few adults got stuck in too😉). The Chatham Islands are home to some of the world's most unique bird species, so what better way to discover them than by learning a few new words along the way?

We'll have these activity sheets on board for the rest of the month, so be sure to grab one on your next flight, see how many manu you can find, and learn a new tukupu (word) while you're at it! 🐦💚

Full credit to the crew!

When Taranaki’s mighty Bulls Taranaki Bulls and a bunch of their fans needed a last-minute lift to Auckland for their Hilux NPC quarter-final, Air Chathams came to the rescue with a charter. Our team laced up their boots, grabbed a box of Tim Tams and headed to the (air) field.

Could this be the greatest call-up since Stephen Donald swapped his whitebait net for an All Blacks jersey to help win the 2011 World Cup final? Tune in tomorrow (Saturday) at 2:30pm to cheer them on.
