Arrived in Melbourne yesterday after flying air nz premium economy over - we checked out the temporary look out lounge before boarding. Very nice except no private toilets - air nz premium product is fantastic - seat with loads of legroom - super comfy and was only jealous I wasn’t onboard for the lunch / dinner service which looked so delicious!
We are Staying at the fabulous QT Hotel here and I highly recommend !! Gorgeous rooms with everything you could want - very cool.
Then we went to Her for some local wine before heading to Chin Chin for their classic banquet lunch - 10/10!!! Delicious. Then the beautiful rooftop here for a margarita before bed.
Tomorrow we are jumping on the Overlander in red premium to Adelaide!! I am super excited and will send updates once on board 🙌🙌✔️✔️

Reporting in from heron island southern Great Barrier Reef. We stayed at the beautiful Turtle sands MonRepos in the most gorgeous glamping tent before an early chopper ride out yesterday morning - such a beautiful trip out flying over lady Musgrave too. Heron island is a haven and base for snorkelling and diving and swimming with an abundance of sharks / rays / turtles and fish to see. The group have just returned from a sunrise snorkel at the wreck. Today we look forward to hopefully snorkelling the outer reef and tomorrow Wilson island …. 🏝️

So privileged to be at the beautiful paradise that is K’gari with Tourism Queensland- today we saw humpback whales in abundance playing and dingoes sunbathing and got to enjoy the beautiful sunset from the sunset bar - tomorrow off to Bundaberg before heading out by helicopter to Heron island 🏝️ can’t wait!! Auckland International Airport Update 🚨

With ongoing development at Auckland Airport, international check-in is changing from Thursday, 26 March. A temporary check-in area, Zone T, will be introduced, located next to the Transport Hub.

Zone T will operate alongside the main check-in areas (Zones A, B, D and E) during peak hours (4pm–9pm) on most days over the northern summer period. Airlines using this zone may vary throughout the year.

Travellers are encouraged to check the AKL website 24 hours before departure to confirm their check-in zone. Additional staff will be available in the Transport Hub to assist if needed.
