The Piha Library has been operating since 1959, providing a library service to the people of Piha, Karekare and Anawhata.

The Piha Community Library is an independent library, run by volunteers and a part-time manager, to serve the Piha, Karekare and Anawhata residents, on the wild West Coast of Auckland, New Zealand. It is run by a registered charitable trust, the ‘Piha Community Library Trust’, and staffed by volunteers and part time paid manager. Situated at 19 Seaview Rd, next to the Campground in the heart of Pi

At the Piha Community Library our aims are:

To provide an excellent volunteer community library service. To be responsive and relevant. To match our collection to the requirements of our community.

The update from GaKaB, since the winter campaign started 1st May, there has been requests for 667 families, which equates to 3,460 people. The Library is Proud to support their wonderful work.
