🇫🇯 GOOD NEWS FOR FIJI TRAVELLERS! 🌴☀️

If you're thinking about a holiday in Fiji, there’s been a positive update regarding the new 5% Tourism Services Tax (TST) coming into effect on 1 September 2026.

The good news? 🎉 If your Fiji accommodation, meals, transfers and activities are booked BEFORE 1 September 2026, they will NOT be subject to the new 5% TST.

✈️ What does this mean for you?

📅 BOOK BEFORE 1 SEPTEMBER 2026
Your existing bookings for:
🏨 Accommodation
🍽️ Meals
🚐 Transfers
🌴 Activities

will not be subject to the new 5% Tourism Services Tax. So book NOW if you are thinking of your next trip to Fiji!!!

📅 BOOK FROM 1 SEPTEMBER 2026
New bookings will have the 5% TST incorporated into the price for accommodation, meals, transfers and activities booked before travelling.

However, there is one thing to keep in mind:

🍹 Food & drinks, spa treatments and other hotel-operated tourism services purchased while you're in Fiji will still attract the 5% TST, regardless of when your holiday was booked. This will be reflected on your invoice/receipt and payable in Fiji.

🇫🇯 The bottom line?

If you already know you're heading to Fiji, there's an opportunity to lock in your accommodation, transfers and activities before 1 September and avoid the new 5% tax on those services.

And as always, I'll keep an eye on the changes and make sure my clients have the latest information before booking.

Tahiti in December… and honestly, it’s just as good as it looks. 🌴💙
