This is the moment everyone talks about. Some are in tears, some are shouting, some just stand there trying to take it all in.

But no one forgets how it feels. The noise, the energy, the people around you who've just been through the same thing. Complete strangers, but somehow not.

It's more than a finish line. It's being part of something bigger. And once you've felt it, you'll want to be back there again.

The TCS New York City Marathon starts on Staten Island, crossing the Verrazano Narrows Bridge into Brooklyn, then Queens over the Greensboro Bridge with sweeping views of the city skyline. From there it's onto 1st Avenue for a slightly hilly stretch, through the Bronx, and finally into Manhattan to finish among the trees of Central Park.

With over 50,000 participants and an estimated 2 million spectators lining the streets, it's often called the biggest 42km street party in the world 🇺🇸
