House pad, shed pad and new access road, the scope with this one was to re align existing access, lessen steep gradients, make batters mowable or grassable/grazable, install 2 x terraces for future gardens (fill zone from cut), and remove the top off an existing hill, using all the fill available we managed to tick all the boxes here and create truck and trailer access into the property, built in a highly erosion prone area the scope of topsoiling and minimising steep batter edges is a great direction for minimising future maintenance issues. Really enjoyed working on this one with our amazing clients who have a great vision for practicality here, also exicited to see the build unfold on what will be something very special for our clients and something rare for marlborough👍👍

Well, its been a long time working on this one but we are finally there! Certainly the largest project we have ever done with more challenges than I could ever list - working in Kiwirail corridor, no access to site, average soil conditions, hard rock, x14 geotechnical monitored / managed sites, large amounts of endhaul material (all with small gear), steep access to some zones, over 1100mm of rain onsite in 2025, slip stabilization techniques , 2400m3 of surface material through our small 3T paver and x7 large engineered walls or structures. This has certainly been a bag of allsorts! Incredibly proud of our team and the Richardson Brothers Construction team on this collaborative effort, special thanks also to Tony & Chase Pruden, the Parkes family, Mark & Sally from Geosolutions and, most important, Vicki, for making what, at times, looked impossible become a reality. Plenty of old school methods, ingenuity and hard slog had gone into this one!!! Thanks to all, more photos to come as 80 is the limit per post
