Getting ready for the 1st of October.

That time again. The opening is approaching. October the first and We are off to the lake for a week. Opening is Tuesday this year.
Looking forward to getting on that mighty river and fishing in the high country of Marlborough New Zealand. I will be fishing where the 6 - 8 pounders are. Good time await but not with the Sage this year..............I broke it last year.

Not much happening on the fishing front this year. Only been out once. So next year I might only be buying a day licence.

We think they found A CURE for the NEW ZEALAND MUD SNAIL and QUAGGA MUSSEL PROBLEM! What DO YOU THINK? This fish eats ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, Just Say'n!

Hey fishers........Not alot of action latley but we are off tomorrow to have a look up the river. Wairau. Taking the boy to do some dryfly dropper fishing in the moring on the pools. Should be nice to get out. I will take a couple of pics.
