A fantastic group from the States arrived with a clear vision: explore the North Island's most stunning and less-travelled interior.*
Our trip designer absolutely delivered, intertwining some of our existing itineraries into a two week special tour! Kicking off in New Plymouth, sweeping inland via the legendary Forgotten Highway, across to Taupo, then over to
Napier for two gorgeous nights on the Hawke's Bay coast. From there, into Havelock North before heading south on Route 52, one of the most beautiful drives in the country, with two incredibly special nights at Wallingford Homestead in the Wairarapa, and finally heading south, enjoying our final evening in Martinborough, finishing in Wellington.
Volcanic plateaus, dramatic coastal clifftops, sweeping hill country, world-class wine country, west coastline and eastern beaches, all strung together by roads that feel like a proper local secret. It's the kind of itinerary that reminds you just how extraordinary this country is.
We felt special to be given the most beautiful card when saying our farewells. Honestly, it's what this job is all about.

*This season we've had a brilliant run of groups after something truly special; tailoring our brochure trips to their specific requests.
These are some of our favourite briefs to work with.
