π Getting around?
The subway is fast, easy and around US$3 per journey. Pair it with walking and you'll often beat a taxi or Uber. That said, every New York visitor should try a yellow cab at least once! π
β¨ Times Square?
Absolutely visit. The lights, energy and atmosphere are everything you'd expect. Just remember β it's never quiet.
π¨ Where would we stay again?
Hotel Beacon on the Upper West Side. A neighbourhood feel, kitchenette rooms, a supermarket across the road and the subway just a short walk away. A favourite with many Kiwi travellers.
