I want to bring bookish people together 🥹
Online and in real life.

Because I know there are so many of us out there who crave meeting other people who get why they stay up until 2am to read “just one more chapter” or why they’re so obsessed with their latest book boyfriend.

So yes, please come and join us even if you’re by yourself 🥰

We have ONE last room left for the Banks Peninsula reading retreat at the end of August 👀

You can either:
✅ Join us with your book bestie
✅ Book the whole room for yourself
✅ Come solo & let me match you up with a room mate.

Send me a message if you have questions or book in through the website! 🥰

I want to bring my reading retreats to Melbourne 👀

But I need your help: what venues or places in and around Melbourne can you recommend? 😌

And would you been keen to join us for a weekend of reading, laughing, homemade Italian food & all things books? 🥹

Our first bookish event in Melbourne is here! 😍🥳⁣

You love books. Your friends…not so much 😬⁣
⁣Or maybe they read, just not the way you do.⁣

Either way, you've been looking for your people — and this is where they are.⁣

📚 Busy with Books is hosting its first Melbourne bookish dinner, and we're keeping it simple: good Italian food, good conversation, and a table full of women who actually want to talk about what they've been reading.⁣

We're gathering at Il Mercato Centrale Melbourne — Melbourne's beautiful Italian food hall in the CBD — where everyone orders what they fancy from the stalls, and we spend the evening doing what we love most: Talking about books. (And eating. Obviously 💁🏼‍♀️)⁣

What to expect:⁣
♥️ A relaxed, informal dinner⁣
♥️ Great food from Il Mercato Centrale (your order, your tab)⁣
♥️ A small goodie to take home⁣
♥️ Good conversation with women who get it⁣
♥️ A cap of 10 guests to keep it intimate⁣

We won't have a set book (this time!), so there's no pressure or homework.⁣

Just show up, order something delicious, and talk books with strangers who are about to become your favourite reading friends.⁣

We can't wait to meet you 📚

If you’re anything like me, you finished Yesteryear and immediately needed to talk to someone about it 🤯⁣

Yesteryear isn’t just a great novel, it’s a window into something much bigger: the tradwife phenomenon, influencer culture, the commodification of femininity, the manosphere, and the gap between the life you sell and the life you actually live.⁣

Here's a list of books I can recommend to read next if you want to dive deeper into those topics. ⁣

Part 2 of what I’ve been reading lately 😍👀

What was your fav recent read?

Why are reading retreats so popular right now? I believe it’s because of these 2 reasons 🤭📚

Women consistently tell me we need more spaces (online & offline) where we can have experiences outside of our family life & partnership - experiences around the things we love, like books.

We are more than mothers and partners.

We are our own people who deserve to do something for ourselves, like going on a reading retreat 🤷🏼‍♀️

I read and watched Project Hail Mary - so which one is better, movie or book? 🤔

If you’ve read/seen both, which one was your favourite?
