Our tram team had a very special guest on board yesterday🐾🚋 A K9 medical detection dog in training joined us for a ride and was on his best behaviour from start to finish.

While dogs can’t usually enter our attractions, certified assistance dogs - including those in training - are always welcome. They do an incredible job supporting people in our local communities. 💙🐶

A huge thank you to everyone who donated to our Winter Pyjama Collection on Tram 244 today! The pyjamas will now be distributed to local families by The Salvation Army. We really appreciate everyone's support 🥰

EARLY CLOSING SAT 16 MAY 🚋

Please note that our standard Christchurch Tram service will finish early at 3pm on Saturday 16 May due to the Once In A Lifetime concert. The last tram will depart Cathedral Junction at 2pm.
From 3pm to 8pm, the trams will be part of a special musical activation for the concert.

We’ll be back to our normal service from 9am on Sunday.

Anzac Weekend Update 🚋

We’ll be operating a little differently over the long weekend. From 4pm on Friday 24 April trams will run on a shorter circuit, and on Saturday 25 April service will begin at 10am due to event-related road closures. We’ll be running from 8:30am until 6pm as normal over the rest of the weekend.

🚧 Service Update 🚋

Due to road closures in place for the Christchurch Marathon, our trams will only be running between Stops 1–9 (Oxford Terrace, Cashel & High Streets) until 1:30pm on Sunday 12 April.

Full service will resume after this time. Thank you for your understanding.
