A Little Escape to Udawalawe National Park ~

Just two hours from Habaraduwa, the road opens into a quiet world where elephants wander like ancient guardians and peacocks perch like painted poems on the trees.

We left home at noon, drifted into the heart of Udawalawe for a four-hour safari, and watched these beautiful beings live freely in their peaceful jungle sanctuary!

By 6 pm, we wrapped up the adventure and headed back toward the coast—arriving home in Habaraduwa by 8 pm for a warm dinner at Xplorers by the sea.

A perfect day trip for anyone who travels with an open heart and a sense of wonder.🥰

A little cat wandered into my view,
and I set my book aside
to breathe in the quiet beauty of my friend’s garden.

In Chinese, we say “Heavenly timing, perfect place, and harmony among people.”

At Xplorers Restaurant by the Sea, we feel blessed to have all three —

○Earth’s blessing — the golden beach of Galle,
○People’s harmony — our wonderful team and guests from around the world.

When these three align, magic happens.
