From the Beach Hop
First of all we want to thank you for the work you put into creating something special for Coromandel Town to encourage our entrants to visit the town for the recent Repco Power Cruise the Loop.

As you are aware this wasn't part of the original Programme however we've been overwhelmed with the amazing feedback from those who participated.

So much so that we are planning to do it again on Thursday 21st March 2024!

You have 11 months to put together a package and we are excited to see what you and your team will come up with.

We will require digital media (PDF of JPG) by Jan 1st 2024 so we can include it in our Social Media etc.

Pop along to the museum. Amazing displays there. I am so pleased fashion has changed since then.

This dress is beautiful but a bit too hot for our weather at the moment. It's always nice and cool in the Museum though and there are heaps of interesting items to see.

$5 for adults and accompanied children under 12 are free

It certainly has been a while since I last posted.
Now tours are up and running, optional to wear masks as you will be outside. Vaccine passes to be sighted.

Museum reopening this week, see hours listed below

Driving Creek Town back in the late 1890s. The Tramway Hotel was 1 of 40 pubs in Coromandel back in the mining days. If you want to see more of these old photos, come visit.
We’re open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1pm to 4pm.
Remember to scan or sign in and wear your mask 😷

Who knows our town's history? Our very own local guides who have over 100 years' knowledge between them. Let them take you on a journey of discovery, bringing our town alive with stories of our past.
Tours must be pre-booked Saturday, Sunday and Monday of Queen's Birthday weekend. Tours depart 11.00am. Remember to wear your walking shoes. This 90-minute guided tour begins from the Information Centre, Samuel James Reserve, Kapanga Road.
Cost: $20.00 per person
