Getting chilly means that you can have all this by yourself. Only 60KM from Auckland international airport, you don’t really need to travel far for wildness. And you can see our house from this little island 🏝️

Home!

We are seeing more and more monthly bookings. It is lovely to see people turning this place as their temporary home when they are in New Zealand. They don’t normally stay here during their entire booking, but they are happy to think that they have a home base here where they can return to during their months-long holiday or work here. It is lovely.

These are the lucky guests! We do see dolphins and orcas in the bay but not often and sometimes, you just didn’t notice. Keep an eye on them next time when you are here! 🐬

Yes, we have great views and architecturally designed home, but I truly believe that true “home away home” are those small details. All the fresh flowers, the water by the beds, the premium toiletries products are there to tell you that someone is there who cares about you. Isn’t that the true meaning of home?!

Good morning!

I love flowers from the garden. They don’t last long but are much more interesting and vibrant than farmed ones. If you had stayed with us before, you might notice that we ALWAYS have fresh flowers. They make the room feeling lively and happy, don’t they?!

Jonathan stayed for four nights during one of the worst storms in New Zealand. I was a bit nervous. It was a released to see that they had enjoyed the stayed despite staying indoor for the whole time. It is actually quite nice to watch Mother Nature putting up a big show outside your floor to ceiling windows with a beautiful bay as the backdrop.
