📢 Heads up Thames-Coromandel.

Our friends at NIWA have released their latest seasonal outlook from September to November and things are looking to get super hot and super windy! 🥵💨

This means greater risk of bush fires, drought and water restrictions. But there are steps you can take now to help protect your families, properties and communities.

🤔 On tank water? Check it now.
🔥 Clear long grass, tidy up around buildings and reduce fire risk.
🫶 Check in on neighbours. A quick chat can make a big difference, especially for rural and vulnerable residents.
💧 Noticed leaking taps, an unusually high water bill, wet patches around your property or on Council land? Let the right people know.
🤓 Stay in the know. Keep an eye on weather, fire and Council updates.

Don’t get caught out. Being prepared will be your best friend this summer. 💪
