We have proudly donated a stay at Island Hills Station for a group of horse riders to a silent auction via the Kaimanawa Legacy Foundation.
This is a non-profit charity dedicated to preserving and managing the wild horse herd in the Kaimanawa Ranges, as well as helping to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome Kaimanawa horses.

You can base at the beautifully restored 1877 Huntaway Homestead (9 bed spaces, 5 bedrooms, good horse paddocks)
and just explore out and back at your own pace.
