Other Roads are returning to New Zealand to launch their latest album Long White Cloud, featuring the hit song “Akaroa”. Inspired by their very first visit, "Akaroa" was an audience favourite on their last tour.

Having wowed audiences at the Auckland Folk Festival and performing at sold-out gigs last year, this will be their last visit to New Zealand for a while and your chance to catch them live!

Gregor Borland, Pete Abbott and Dave Walmisley draw upon their diverse backgrounds in Scotland, England and Africa to create an exciting and original sound. These talented multi-instrumentalists incorporate fiddle, bouzouki, guitars, mandolin and even harmonica with some extremely fine harmony singing. They perform an eclectic mix of older and original compositions, ranging from soft ballads to foot-stomping Celtic fiddle tunes and choruses. Their expert musicianship and infectious enthusiasm, laced with humour, are sure to entertain.

"Individually they are excellent… together they're just magic. It would be difficult to find a finer folk trio on the scene today…" Ali O'Brien, Saddleworth Folk Festival Director.
