Jobs started last week are now finished this week... Mitre 10 had stocked the timber we needed to finish our window sill in the bedroom and the 15.6 m deck walkway flew up once we were out of the ground and put the shovels away. Two happy customers. Below are a few before and after photos.

Well the lads were back at it last week after a wedding and a honeymoon got in the way... One customer wanted there downstairs bedroom insulated and lined. The walls were originally blocks with no insulation that tend to sweat a lot resulting in excess moisture. Too easy.
We also managed to squeeze in a small slab for a conservatory to be build on and start a deck walkway. Watch this space.

Job done. The old gate on this fence was too heavy for the post it swung on so it bent considerably resulting in the gate getting stuck on the ground. First job was to straighten the post, hence the big brace, then we just built a new gate, hung it on some new hinges and bobs your uncle. 👍

Another picket fence done and dusted!!! This one for our physio of the Otago Volts. He looked after us well during the cricket season, now we are just returning the favour!
Some quirky angles to work with, as are so many Dunedin sections but we are pleased with the tidy finish we have achieved. Enjoyed a beer after this one on an awesome autumns

We got the challenge of putting up a child proof fence on a deck of a rental property. The challenge was, Being a rental property we couldn't make changes to any existing structures. We said "not a problem!" We built a picket fence with feet on it, then screwed the feet down in the existing holes where the deck screws were. Too Easy
