Hi everyone 🙂 just letting you know I had my op 11 days ago, thankfully everything went well, been home for a week and stitches out tomorrow, tired and scared with some hair come, my talking was affected and ears are strange but yay slowly getting better, hopefully I'll be back at work end of April/May, thanks to everyone who has supported and cared for me, I could never have done this without the amazing people in my life, I'll update in a few weeks 🥰

I'm really sorry to advise I am unavailable from this Wednesday the 26th of February, I've just had the call from Christchurch hospital and have my pre op at 1pm

So February is here and I still have no news on my operation, I emailed chch hospital last week with no reply, called the specialist private clinic but they can't help as I'm under public, rang chch neurosurgery today, nobody can assist me, no appointment is booked apparently, I can't believe this is happening, when my appointment is booked I will only get 1 to 2 weeks notice, I'm so sorry to muck everyone around, I actually don't know what to do, I will update in 2 weeks and maybe reopen my bookings for March if I'm still waiting, again I'm so sorry and thanks for your understanding 😢

Final work day for the year, what a year it has been, I want to thank you all for your support this year, it has not been an easy one, the care and generosity you have given to both me and my daughter has been overwhelming, your assistance has helped me greatly and I truly appreciate your patience and loyalty, I wish you all a Merry Christmas filled with love and laughter and a happy and healthy 2025, best wishes from me to you, see you in the new year, restart January 7th xox

Update on my health story, I got the call from the neurosurgeon in Chch today, I am having brain surgery, although there is a small risk of things going badly...leaving it is 10 times worse, I don't know when it will be, I'm on the waiting list. I'm working as normal until then, I will contact you if I need to change appointments, thanks for your support and understanding 😊

As many of you know I've had a problem with my eye the past few months, lots of pushing with many drs and departments I finally got a scan, rapidly it turned to 3 scans in 5 days, I still have no diagnosis of eye problem but sadly a brain aneurism has been found, I'm waiting to hear from Chch on a plan, I have no effects as yet, just wanting to update you all, I am still living life as normal and continuing to work, I may have to change your hair appointment to fit in with the Dr's but hope this won't affect you too much. Thanks for your support, care and understanding 🥰

It's time for a shout out to the most amazing human in my life, my darling daughter Arleah Didham warrior princess 🥰 and her number 1 supporter/carer/soul mate Austin Burgess 😎 It's been so hard watching her go through a tough past 6 months, heartbreaking actually but the strength, resilience and courage she has had on her journey has been mind blowing, the care, support and generosity of her (and my) many supporters has been a massive help, now she is 22, CANCER FREE and ready to get back to enjoying life and following her dreams! Thank you everyone who assisted, Arleah you are an inspiration, I am so proud of you, you are my world and I thank you for winning the biggest fight of your life, you go girl and carry on living your best life, you are a legend and I love you more every day baby girl xox
