As we continue to invest in the future of travel, I’m thrilled to share details of our newly redesigned 787-9 Dreamliner cabin experience – a major milestone for Air New Zealand and our customers.
Over the next two years, we will completely retrofit all 14 of our 787-9 Dreamliners, making history as the first airline to undertake a full nose-to-tail upgrade of this aircraft type. This is more than just a refresh – it’s a reinvention, inspired by customer insights and extensive design innovation.

The first of our retrofitted aircraft, ZK-NZH, has just touched down in New Zealand complete with all new interiors and product. It will spend the next few weeks undergoing final tests, checks, and give us an opportunity to give our crew some training onboard.

✈ New Business Premier Luxe Seats – an elevated experience with extra space, better privacy, and a guest seat for dining or working together.
