Whirlwind ( less than 24 hours) in Auckland to do yet another speech, as part of my "yes to opportunity" and "yes to pushing outside my comfort zone" year. Thanks to , the wonderful , and for my scholarship. 👏

Special mention to for upgrading me to the front row in both directions and for not only being on time but in fact being early both ways. ✈️

Shout out to the lovely venue and stay Auckland (just wish I had longer to enjoy it), and what a great rooftop bar 🍸. That view! 👌

We do a lot of hotel inspections on famil trips, but this one deserves its own post. What a quirky, unique, and fun place to stay with amazing attention to detail and lovely, welcoming staff. 👌

Last Thursday, I flew to Sydney along with fellow travel agents to learn and experience firsthand what Sydney and Canberra have to offer... It's a hard job, but someone's gotta do it 😉.

Ever been in a brand new airport before it's officially opened? 🙋‍♀️

Last week we had the privilege of visiting WSI - Western Sydney International Airport, which will open in October. It was an amazing experience and a bit eery too!

Key takeaways:

■ It will be open 24 hours as it has no curfews, which will make for some great connections.

■ The technology is so advanced, including universal check in kiosks and smart biometrics machines to streamline security and boarding. Also, Australia's first 100% digitally controlled air control tower! And so on...

■ It has amazing infrastructure and so much room to continue to grow (big plans in the works).

■ Sustainable design with a 5 star green rating with the buildings architecture paying respect to local indigenous culture.

■ If you are heading to Parramatta, Blue Mountains or elsewhere in Western Sydney (the fastest growing region in Sydney), you can avoid flying into the city.

And yes, I reccomended Dunedin be put forward as one of the next destinations as they continue to add routings. Wouldn't that be amazing?!🤞
