1. First impressions of Lima city. In ❤️!

2. When in Lima one must partake in a pisco sours masterclass and taste test every pisco sour put in front of them!

My Cook Islands 🌴🌺

1. The mountains of Rarotonga. Quite possibly even more beautiful than the lagoon!

2. Dearloves in Raro… a Sunday morning roadside tradition since forever ago. IYKYK!

3. The view I would have seen, had I decided to do the cross island walk and climb the needle. But I didn’t! So this one’s courtesy of my daughter Ava

4. Seriously can you get anymore dreamy Aitutaki?

5. Farewell Aitutaki. More than a few tears shed every time I leave.

6. There’s always time in the islands to stop and smell the flowers! 🌺

They take their doorways very seriously in San Miguel de Allende.

And behind the doors are these incredible hidden courtyards with restaurants, hotels, shopping.

Making the famous Wedding (White) Mole sauce with Meson Amelia by Sam B&B

We came across these fearsomely talented kids in the main square of San Miguel. Amazing to have them performing so strongly and confidently in the shadows of the cathedral.

Of course, behind the photos is a 47 year old not wearing her glasses and the lens facing the wrong way!

Incredible tomato salad and tuna tostadas at Botánico in Mexico City. Tuna tostadas will be at the top of my summer entertaining regime.

Welcome to the Tribe Nicola Alpe! 🎉🥳

Nicola joined our Taste of India 2025 tour and what started as a travel experience quickly turned into a wonderful friendship. As we began talking about the future of Her Tribe Travels, it became clear that we shared the same passion for creating exceptional travel experiences and bringing women together through adventure.

With a background in marketing, a lifelong love of travel, and a passion for bringing people together, she is a natural fit as we enter this exciting new chapter of Her Tribe Travels.

We are working hard to put together our 2027 tours which we will be launching next month. In the meantime, if you want to be the first to know what those destinations are and the dates, then sign up to receive all the details at the link in our bio.

It feels wonderful to use the words ‘we’ and ‘our’, because just as travel is so much better with a Tribe, working alongside someone who just gets it is just so good.

This is not a baby announcement. Well, not technically.

Solo travel can be awesome but it’s so much better when you do it with other like-minded women (especially on a Her Tribe Travels tour 😘).

Solo working can also be awesome, but doing it with someone who fills in your gaps, who adds the fizz to your 🥂 and the 🌶️ to your sweet, is even better.

New people. New tours. New destinations to experience. New memories to share.

8 days in to our Ciao Bella! Italy Foodie Tour with and 12 fabulous ladies… running on very little sleep, loads of adrenaline, half a dozen gelatos, 5 litres of Italian wine and at least 15 kgs of pasta, prosciutto and pecorino! 🤣

Today was a big travel day, starting off in Tuscany and ending in Sorrento. Can’t believe we only have 2 full days to go! ❤️🇮🇹❤️
