🌟 **Introducing the Huy Tien Vu Scholarship at the University of Waikato 2025 !** 🌟


📚 About the Scholarship:

The Huy Tien Vu Scholarship was established in 2022 in memory of Huy Vu who was a valued member of the University for over 20 years. The Scholarship provides support to extraordinary international students or students from an international refugee background immersed in the University community and studying in year three or above towards an undergraduate degree in the Waikato Management School. This Scholarship provides $5,000 directly to deserving recipient.

🌐 Eligibility:

Open to those who have come to New Zealand as a refugee OR be a direct descendant of a parent who was a refugee to New Zealand OR be classed as an international student in the student management system at the time of application.

For those who have completed at least two years of full-time study at the University of Waikato and be currently enrolled full-time in the third year (or above) in an undergraduate degree programme offered by Waikato Management School.

Summer Research Scholarship

Applications are open for the University of Waikato Summer Research Scholarship Programme!

Dip your toes into the rewarding world of research with our 10-week Summer Research Scholarship Programme. You will be supported by an academic supervisor and get hands-on in the creation of new knowledge.

📚 About the Scholarship:

This year, we are offering over 75 research projects in a variety of research areas. The scholarship has a value of $8,000 and free enrolment in a credit-bearing paper for the duration of the project. You also will have opportunity to win a cash prize of up to $1000 in our annual research poster awards!

🌐 Eligibility:

For domestic and international students currently enrolled at a New Zealand University or other tertiary provider who have not yet undertaken postgraduate research (i.e. a thesis).

🗓 Application Deadline:

This week’s edition of Money Mondays features the Michael Baldwin scholarship.

This scholarship is for citizens of any South Pacific Nation (excluding New Zealander and Australian citizens), who can demonstrate a need for financial support in order to undertake study. Candidates must be enrolled or intending to enrol in approved full-time study. The scholarship is valued up to $10,000.
