( photo blog- is phlog even a thing or am I an inventor too?!) I will be sharing my journey of renovating my new house truck mostly through photos so i invite the 'nosey' and 'curious' in you to join :)

I am not a builder- merely a determined woman with an ancestory that never knew any other response than 'sure, why not!' To any challenge. For this reason this is not really a 'how to' guide but m

erely an invite to become a fly on the wall during the process. I will no doubt need to seek much advice along the way so keep tuned in for my cries of help :P

Am I prepared for unpredictable problems, unseen damp, projects that were supposed to be easy... And weren't, structural dilemmas, the physical and mental challenge I am about to take on..? NOPE! But I sure as hell will throw myself at them when they arise :)

This amazing bunch of women at have changed our lives giving us the super power of safety.
After 10 years of DIY electrics in the paddock and attempts at off grid thinking we finally have the power needed to keep us, and my dishwasher alive (it’s both, or neither of us…)

Finally our permaculture dream is coming to fruition! 🌱
I tend to rotate the Reno of inside spaces to meet current needs but outside is where the magic is at- thanks to our kaitiaki Hinemotu ✌️
My job seems to be understanding the theory, building the big picture and structures, and thankfully Donna is the one who knows plants and can keep things alive!

The original Bedford truck procreated... so one of her biggest changes is that we no longer sleep in it. The old bedroom has now become a cool little lounge/spare bedroom and the rest is the general living/cooking/eating/lazying space!

Well here it is, the promised post- albeit 3 weeks later 😷 We hope you and your bubble are keeping well in these bizarre times. We are lucky enough to live in paradise so a lockdown here with both mamas at home is an absolute privilege, as is our health!

Much decking has occurred in the last year! And as you’ll see another truck has joined our Bedford family! I’ll go through each space with a new post to update on the developments to fit our new family 👩‍👩‍👧❤️

Sooo... forgive me people for I have secrets. It has been too long since my last confession... and now I must cleanse!
1) I’m preeeety sure we are no longer living ‘tiny’ with all the updating we have had to do and haven’t told you about 🤪
2) We haven’t shared the extension as we have been busy creating a tiny human!! We didn’t want to jinx it...
So, in the coming weeks I shall share updates of our new and existing spaces. Hang tight, a lot has changed, including my sleep, shower and eating patterns 🤣😍
