We are in Dallas America attending the International Helicopter expo. What an honour it was to share the stage with Jim Guerin of Helicopters HB and Christopher Ross of the NZDF #3 Squadron in part of receiving the International Humanitarian Award in recognition of our efforts during Cyclone Gabrielle. Our appreciation is expressed to ALL THOSE who attributed in responding and supporting this disaster.
Awesome to have Rick Graham, Charlie Beetham, Stephen Cranswick, Murray Benns and Neville Dawson here sharing in this celebration as well as other kiwi heli folk Louisa Paterson, Keith & Scott McKenzie 😊

No-one died at Pākōwhai when Cyclone Gabrielle was inundated. That was partly down to luck. But a big part of it was the efforts of Joe Faram, of Rotorforce New Zealand and Jim Guerin of Hawke’s Bay Helicopters, and members of the RNZAF, who have now received humanitarian awards for their efforts to save hundreds.

Warbirds Over Wanaka this weekend marks a legacy of our company founder, the late Sir Tim Wallis. Founded in 1988, Tim’s passion for Warbirds and aviation transformed into a biennial spectacle, captivating aircraft enthusiasts worldwide. From humble beginnings, the event has grown to be the Southern Hemisphere’s largest Warbirds Airshow, drawing over 50,000 attendees each year. As we approach the 36th year, we’re proud to see the continuation of Tim’s dream.
