Tuki Glamping

We are all ok at Tuki Glamping - our property had a few poplar branches down and were very lucky to avoid any major damage. The Glamping tent took everything thrown at it and still looks like it did pre-cyclone which is a relief. We are open for business with good road access to our house.

Our thoughts are with those who have been affected by this event, no words can really describe the devastation around us. The emergency services, Unison and other agencies have been awesome not to mention all those who have helped out.

The sun is out for now and the hills around are weeping with the scars of the storm.

It’s was a fun night hosting and catering for the Dahuti Christmas party. They kayaked down the Tuki in the afternoon, had fun in our pool then up to the campsite for grazing platters, meal and dessert - the night was still the stars were out snd the music was playing - perfect !

I think winter afternoon is the best time to spend at Tuki Glamping, the view of the hills and valley are looking lush having benefited from the recent rain, the outdoor fire can be lit and enjoyed til dark, you can have a soak in the bath, sip your favourite wine and kick back. And, if you’ve booked a winter 1-night special dinner is delivered to your door. Just magic!
