Meet the Newest Members of the Farm Family!

We’re excited to introduce Molly and Harry, our adorable miniature Highland cattle, who have just joined the farm here at Cottages on St Andrews.

With their fluffy coats, gentle nature, and curious personalities, they’ve already settled in beautifully and are loving their new home. Guests may spot them grazing in the paddock or quietly watching the world go by — they’re quickly becoming farm favourites!

School holidays = adventure time! 🌿👟

With the holidays in full swing, we had to get the two youngest employees of Cottages on St Andrews out of the house — and what better spot than Te Mata Peak, just a stone’s throw from the cottages!

A short drive later, we were wandering through the magical Redwood Forest, discovering hidden caves, and soaking up the fresh air and epic views. 🌲⛰️

It’s the perfect way to burn off some energy, reset the mind, and connect with nature — all right here in our own backyard.

So if you're staying with us (or visiting Hawke’s Bay soon), Te Mata Peak is a must-do experience we all highly recommend! 💛

Last week we had the pleasure of hosting the Year 7 & 8 students from Hutt International Boys' School while they were in Hawke’s Bay for a sports exchange with a local school.

Sports exchanges are such a special time for young athletes, so we thought we’d make it a bit more memorable by leaving a small treat and a note in each room from the team here at Cottages on St Andrews—wishing them all the best for their games the next day.

The boys made great use of our heated pool and had plenty of fun enjoying the wide open spaces our property offers. It was fantastic to see them making the most of their stay.

We look forward to welcoming HIBS again in the future!

Well, we took a quick 2-minute stroll to our amazing Neighbours at Off The Track — and what a fantastic night it was! 🔥

Warm, welcoming, and full of charm, their cozy vibes were only matched by a menu that tasted as good as it looked. 🍷🍽️ Plus, we’re loving the new sign — it’s looking sharp!
