The gardens at Birchwood are beginning to show their autumn colours.
The garden is planted with many fruit trees that bare throughout the year. Currently there are pears apples and figs ripe with feijoa not far off.
Guests are encouraged to explore the gardens and enjoy the fruit that is in season.
Winter is a great time to enjoy poached figs and ice cream with mulled wine.

Birchwood has 4 bedrooms ( 1 king and 3 queen),3bathrooms WFI and Sky TV are provided.
The Aga stove provides the opportunity to practise hassel free cooking while enjoying some of Hawkes Bay finest wines.
For the winter getaways Birchwood is fully central heated as well as a wood fire in the lounge. The famous farmers markets held every Saturday are minutes away.
