The Nook at Tuibrook

The Nook at Tuibrook The Nook is a private, clean and comfortable room with its own ensuite, available for holiday rental It looks away from the house so is quite private.

The Nook sits alongside our family home, facing an established garden. There is a super comfortable queen sized bed, linen provided, freeview TV, WIFI, ensuite with large shower (toiletries provided) and great water pressure. While there is no kitchen The Nook has a bar fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle with complimentary tea & coffee. For the colder seasons you can snuggle down with an electr

ic blanket, a cosy feather duvet and electric heater to keep you toasty. We are a short walk to Havelock North village, not to mention central to many of Hawkes Bay's main attractions with wonderful wineries, Te Mata Peak, Cape Kidnappers, the Tuki Tuki River, Art Deco culture, and golden beaches only a stone's throw away.

❄️Happy Winter Solstice🌏

👋Good morning and welcome to the southern hemisphere's winter solstice. 🗓️ Today, the earth's axis is tilted at its furthest point from the ☀️sun. This means that the sun is at its lowest point in the sky and therefore It's also the ⏱️shortest day of the year – and the longest night.

✅The good news is, from tomorrow, days will gradually get more hours of ☀️sunlight, although 🥶 temperatures continue to get colder for a time through winter before they start to warm up again.

Check out this MetService blog from 2011 (when the winter solstice was 22nd June) https://shorturl.at/XfNrl for more info.

Did Lonely Planet mean to write Naples instead of Napier? Absolutely not, Hawke's Bay's food is incredible, and this is proof of it. 🍽️🥳🙌
