A day of sightseeing, visiting Cinque Terre, we rode down to all 5 villages, had to park bikes up the hill a bit then walk down. ✅ must do. Amazing weather, not too hot.

Words cannot describe the feeling - still in shock!

As we boost straight from the track to Auckland Airport to catch a flight to Portugal tonight, it’s hard to know how to sum this weekend up. Talk about highs and lows! (The 300 was not my friend! Let’s leave it at that! 🤦🏻‍♂️)

I was just one point behind my teammate Jake Lewis Racing going into this final round and managed to even it up by putting the #14 on pole. A win in race one yesterday gave me a slight edge in the points … before Jake staged an awesome win this morning to draw level again!

So it was all on the line with 14 laps to decide the 2023 champion! With Rogan Chandler well in the mix too, the final race of the season was gonna be a battle of epic proportions! On lap six, I snatched my opportunity and managed to take the lead, narrowly holding off Jake to the chequered flag! 🏁

I wouldn’t have wanted to be fighting for this title against anyone else. I have learned so much from Jake and Al Hoogie Racing and the crew in the Altherm JCR Yamaha garage over the past three years.

Dual NZ championships - 300SS and 600SS - and new lap records set at every circuit … a summer of racing doesn’t get any sweeter than this. 🏆🏆

So many people deserve to share in this victory with me - especially my family, my team, my sponsors and those who support me. You are all unreal and I know this moment wouldn’t be possible without you.

Massive thanks to Steve and Diana Lloyd and Josh and Amy Coppins for making this season a reality for me with the bLUcRU - it’s been such a ride and I’ve loved being back on NZ turf.

Jessica Shivas - my rock and my world. Thanks for being there unconditionally. We got this babe. 💙💚

Now to focus on the season ahead in Europe with Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and the Finetwork FIM JuniorGP with AGR Racing Team.
