We would like to share the news that the Invercargill i-SITE on Wachner Place will be closing on 23 December.

This means bookings for external services will now need to be completed directly with the service provider or through the national i-SITE network at www.isite.nz or phone 0800 474 830.

• DOC Visitor Centres and Southland retailers selling Backcountry Hut Tickets are listed on the DOC website www.doc.govt.nz.
• Backcountry Hut Passes are available to purchase at all DOC Visitor Centres and the Invercargill DOC Office.
• Southland's regional promotional website www.southlandnz.com remains a key place to source information about the region for visitors and locals.

Happy Long weekend everyone!!!

Just a reminder, we are here Saturday and Sunday 10am till 4pm but closed Monday.

It has been great to see so many locals taking advantage of our many DOC huts and tracks this week by getting prepared with their hut tickets, back country hut passes and locator beacons for the long weekend. What a great way to spend it!!
