Kaikōura is a global hotspot for seabirds, hosting up to 14 species of albatross—including wandering, southern royal, and Salvin’s albatross. Because a deep ocean trench sits just offshore, these majestic birds can be viewed remarkably close to the coast!

A rare occasion out at sea—both bosses hit the water with guide Maz and an incredible crew from the USA, New Zealand, Scotland, Malaysia, and Kaikōura. Sunshine, seals, petrels, and a humpback made it a day to remember. 🐋☀️🌊
